Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mirza Kušljugić, was in Zagreb at the 5th meeting of the Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees of Parliaments of Southeast Europe

 
Chairperson of the Committee for Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Mirza Kušljugić, participated at the 5th meeting of Chairpersons of Foreign Affairs Committees of Parliaments of Southeast Europe (SEE), which was held on 25 and 26 September in Zagreb.

The two-day meeting programme, hosted by the Croatian Parliament, included discussions about the directions and mechanisms of economic cooperation between the countries of the region, as well as the difficulties and challenges that SEE countries face in the process of European Union enlargement.

Dr. Kušljugić addressed participants of the meeting in Zagreb during the introduction, where the Chairpersons of the Foreign Policy Committees of the Croatian Parliament, the Parliament of Montenegro, the National Assembly of Serbia, the Macedonian Parliament and the National Assembly of Slovenia also addressed those present.

The participants of the meeting were greeted by the president of the Croatian Parliament, Josip Leko, as well as member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Parliament, Josip Juratović.

During the Zagreb meeting, the Višegrad Group model of co-operation was presented, and the meeting was finalized by the adoption of conclusions stemming from discussion topics. (End)
