The Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) at the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the SEECP

Members of the Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Cooperation Process in Southeastern Europe (SEECP PA), Momčilo Novaković, Lilja Zovko and Hanka Vajzović, will participate in SEECP PA's committees and plenary sessions on 22 and 23 May in Tirana.

As announced by the event's hosts, the SEECP PA plenary session will be devoted to the role of parliaments in the process of integration and exchange of experiences and contributions within that framework.

Parliamentarians from 12 member countries of the SEECP will be addressed by the President of the Parliament of Albania, Ilir Meta, as well as by Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, which currently chairs the SEECP. It was announced that the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, will also address members.

During the first working day of the Tirana meeting, the seat of the SEECP PA Secretariat will be decided and three members of the SEECP PA General Committee elected.

The parliamentary dimension of SEECP was officially established last year at the inaugural session in Bucharest.

In addition to BiH, the member states are Albania, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Serbia and Turkey. (End)
