Official talks between members of the Collegium of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) and the Palestinian National Council

Members of the Collegium of the House of Representatives and House of Peoples of the BiH PA met today with a delegation from the Palestinian National Council, on a multi-day official visit to our country.

They exchanged views on the current situation and ways to definitively resolve the conflict between Palestine and Israel. Members of the leadership of the BiH PA repeated the commitment of the official foreign policy of BiH, according to which Palestine and Israel should be two States and support a peaceful path towards achieving this goal.

The President of the Palestinian National Council, Saleem D.S. Alzanoon thanked the Members for BiH’s attitude and constant support to the process of finding a lasting solution to the Palestinian question. He also stressed the need to further strengthen the good co-operation between the Palestinian National Council and the BiH PA and to intensify the activities of parliamentary friendship groups. (End)
