Speaker of the House of Representatives, Šefik Džaferović, spoke with the Indonesian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), Šefik Džaferović, spoke today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of Indonesia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Subijakson Sujon, about the possibility of improving political and economic co-operation between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, they jointly concluded that there is considerable room for strengthening co-operation in the political, economic and cultural spheres for the benefit of the citizens of the two countries. Attention was paid to exploring possibilities for improving economic co-operation between BiH and Indonesia, a country with one of the strongest economies in Asia and around the world.

Speaker Džaferović informed Ambassador Sujon about the current political situation in our country, expressing hope that all levels of government will accept the European roadmap and launch reforms aimed at bringing BiH European Union candidate status as soon as possible.

Congratulating the Speaker on his election to this position, Ambassador Sujon invited a BiH PA delegation to visit Indonesia to strengthen both political co-operation and co-operation between the two national parliaments. (End)
