The House of Peoples holds the Constituent Session





The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina was constituted today. At the beginning of the Session, delegates gave solemn oath, with which they took over duties of delegates in the House of Peoples, and then verified National Caucus and House of Peoples’ leaders. Ognjen Tadić was elected as the Speaker of the House of Peoples, Dragan Čović as First Deputy Speaker and Sulejman Tihić as Second Deputy Speaker. All three candidates were unanimously elected.
Halid Genjac was elected today as the Chairman of Bosniak People Caucus, Hasan Bećirović was elected to be his Deputy and members of the Caucus are Mehmed Bradarić, Nermina Kapetanović and Sulejman Tihić. Chairwoman of the Croat People Caucus is Borjana Krišto with Josip Merdžo as Deputy and Dragan Čović, Stjepan Krešić and Krunoslav Vrdoljak as members. Staša Košarac was elected as the Chairman of Serb People Caucus with Dragutin Rodić as Deputy and Mladen Ivanić, Krstan Simić and Ognjen Tadić as members.
