House of Representatives easily elects members of Parliamentary Committees and Delegations
At its 2nd Session today, The House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH finalised efficiently and easily election of members of the House of Representative. MPs were elected to permanent committees of the House, joint committees of parliamentary Houses as well as members of permanent PA BiH delegations in Council of Europe, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Central European Initiative (CEI), NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Parliamentary Assembly of Mediterranean and BiH Inter-Parliamentary Group in Inter - Parliamentary Union. Accordingly, all conditions were created for the House of Representatives to continue to work in full capacity as well as to take over its legislative, supervisory, financial and other competences. Members were elected into permanent committees of the House, i.e. Constitutional Legal Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, Foreign Trade & Customs Committee, Finances & Budget Committee, Traffic & Communications Committee and Gender Equality Committee.
Members of the House of representatives were also easily elected into joint committees of both Houses: Joint Committee on Defence and Security of BiH, Joint Committee on Supervision of the work of Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, Joint Committee on Economic Reforms and Development, Joint Committee on European Integration, Joint Committee on Administrative Affairs and Joint Committee on Human Rights, Rights of Children, Youth, Immigration, Refugees, Asylum and Ethics. Members of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Delegations were also elected for: Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Central European Initiative (CEI), NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Parliamentary Assembly of Mediterranean and BiH Inter-Parliamentary Group in Inter - Parliamentary Union.
Election of Delegation Members provides conditions for unblocking of work and decision making of representatives of our country in these international institutions. Delegations will be complete after election of members from the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. (end)
