Delegation of the BiH PA at the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean


The Head of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, Šemsudin Mehmedović and Deputy Chairman, Ognjen Tadić, will participate at the plenary session and the 6th session of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in Palermo on 26-30 October 2011.

The session of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) will be opened by the PAM Chairman, Abdelwahad Radi, after which participants will be addressed by the President of the Assembly of Sicily, Francesco Cascio, and the Deputy Chairman of the PAM and leader of the Italian delegation, Francesco Maria Amoruso.
The programme envisages that during the session of Standing Committee, amongst other things, talks will be held on political and security co-operation, organized crime, dialogue among cultures, civilizations and human rights, and migration in the Mediterranean region.
During the session of the PAM, a debate will be held about constitutional reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and introductory remarks will be made by PAM member Miro Petek from Slovenia. (end)
