The Speaker of the House of Peoples, Ognjen Tadić, spoke with the Ambassador of Greece to Bosnia and Herzegovina

“The Balkan region is of the highest interest to Greek foreign policy and thus, it is important for us to be present in Bosnia and Herzegovina as the heart of the region, helping your country as much as possible on its road to the European Union,” said Karolos Gadis, Ambassador of Greece to Bosnia and Herzegovina, in a meeting with Ognjen Tadić, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. “At the same time, I am utilizing my mission as a way to mediate between our two countries, especially in economic affairs,” he added.

Speaker Tadić acquainted the ambassador with current developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), and especially with achieving agreement between the six political leaders, so that time won’t be lost as we return to the letter of the Dayton constitution. He also invited Ambassador Gadis to work actively together on linking the economic affairs of BiH and Greece, as well as to encourage exchange of experiences on the best way of fulfilling the conditions for BiH to enter the European Union, for which, he said, BiH declares its undivided commitment.
