The Parliamentary Assembly of BiH celebrates the PAM Mediterranean Day

 
The Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean today celebrates Mediterranean Day, an event which has been marked by 26 countries since 2005.

On this occasion, the Chair of the Permanent Delegation, Šemsudin Mehmedović, and his deputies, Mladen Ivanković Lijanović and Ognjen Tadić, addressed the numerous assembled guests and journalists. They emphasized, amongst other things, the need to contribute as parliamentarians to the strengthening and developing of relationships between the Member States of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean. Also, they emphasized its importance as a regional organization of parliamentarians whose aim is to build bridges of trust between the different cultures and peoples of the region. (end)
