A three-day working meeting of the Inter - Agency Working Group (IAWG) for Amendments and Supplements to the BiH Election Law, the BiH Law on Political Party Financing (LPPF) and the Law on Conflict of Interest in BiH Institutions (LCoI) has begun

 
A three-day working meeting of the Inter - Agency Working Group (IAWG) for Amendments and Supplements to the BiH Election Law, the BiH Law on Political Party Financing (LPPF) and the Law on Conflict of Interest in BiH Institutions (LCoI) begins today in Jahorina, and will last until 4 April 2012.

It was emphasized that the goal of the working meeting is to finally define amendments and supplements to the aforementioned laws, and to introduce amendments to parliamentary procedures.
Today, the Inter - Agency Working Group focused on amendments and supplements to the BiH Law on Political Party Financing, and tomorrow amendments and supplements to the Law on Conflict of Interest in BiH Institutions will be discussed. They will try to reach a final agreement on amendments and supplements to the BiH Election Law on the last day of the meeting.

Besides the Chair of the Inter - Agency Working Group, Mr Halid Genjac, members of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermina Zaimović-Uzunović, Borjana Krišto, Milorad Živković, Dragutin Rodić and Niko Lozančić will participate at the working meetings.
The participants, also members of the Inter-Agency Working Group, are from the BiH Council of Ministers and Central Election Committee, and include representatives from the OSCE Mission to BiH, the OSCE/ODIHR and the Council of Europe. (end)
