The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, spoke with the Ambassador of Hungary


"The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, met with the Hungarian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Jozsef Pandur, in Sarajevo.
During the meeting, the collocutors exchanged views and discussed opportunities and relationships in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the context of political, economic and social reforms in the country and further steps towards the Euro-Atlantic integration process. The Ambassador informed Speaker Čović about the current politico-economic conditions in Hungary, the resignation of the President and the election of a new President of Hungary.

During the conversation, it was concluded that the exchange of experiences about the adoption of European standards and Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the support of Hungary, is very important for Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path towards the EU and NATO. In addition, Speaker Čović and Ambassador Pandur discussed the official visit of the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Hungary, which is planned for the upcoming period.
“Both sides have expressed a readiness to continue co-operation," reported the Cabinet of the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina. (end)
