Parliamentary Military Commissioner of BiH, Boško Šiljegović visited members of the Armed Forces of BiH who are in peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan

 
From 15-24 May, the Parliamentary Military Commissioner of BiH, Boško Šiljegović, alongside representatives of the Armed Forces of BiH consisting of Brigadier Generals Senad Mašović and Husein Tursunović, Major Siniša Anteljević, Captain Aleksandar Šegrt and Lieutenant Robert Visković, paid a visit to members of the Armed Forces of BiH who are in peacekeeping missions in Afghanistan.

During his stay in Afghanistan, the Military Commissioner met with members of the 4th rotation of the Infantry Brigade of the Armed Forces of BiH from the 5th Infantry Brigade attached to the mission of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan's Helmand province, which has a total of 45 members, including two women. This Brigade is part of the contingent of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark in the Main Operating Base "Price".

During the visit, Mr. Šiljegović also spoke with our officers who serve within the contingent of the Armed Forces of Germany in the Regional Command North area. These officers were trained together with members of the German contingent for the mission in which they are placed today. Mr. Šiljegović also spoke with members of the Armed Forces of BiH who are part of the contingent of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Croatia in the Military Police School of the Afghan National Army (ANA) in Kabul. These members of the Armed Forces of BiH participate in the training of the Afghan army. (end)
