Member of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Milica Marković, participated at a meeting of the Social, Health and Family Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, held today in Paris.

After Dorothea Schafer’s, professor at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin), presentation on financial transaction tax, the draft resolution on restoring social justice through a tax on financial transactions was discussed and adopted. In addition, the Report on nanotechnologies was adopted, as well as the draft report on inter-country adoption: ensuring that the best interests of the child are upheld.
Members of the Committee discussed the Memorandum on Combating “child abuse images” through committed, transversal and internationally co-ordinated action. (end)
