Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Participate in the First Part of the Ordinary Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)

 
Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Milica Marković, Ms. Ismeta Dervoz, Ms. Borjana Krišto, Mr. Saša Magazinović, Mr. Senad Šepić and Mr. Mladen Ivanić will participate in the first part of the ordinary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which will be held from 21 to 25 January 2013 in Strasbourg.
Vice Presidents and new members of the PACE Committees shall be elected at the beginning of the session.

During the five-day session, participants are expected to discuss, among other things, the following issues:: „The situation in Kosovo and the role of the Council of Europe“, „The activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development“, „Ensuring the viability of the Strasbourg Court: structural deficiencies in States Parties“, as well as „Georgia and Russia: the humanitarian situation in the conflict-and war-affected areas“.

Furthermore, there will be debates on the honouring of obligations and commitments by Azerbaijan, Council of Europe convention to combat trafficking in organs, tissues and cells of human origin, the state of media freedom in Europe, post-monitoring dialogue with Bulgaria, gender equality, reconciliation of family and working life and shared responsibility, as well as on trafficking of migrant workers for forced labour.
