Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Dragan Čović Ph.D., held a meeting with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to BiH

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Dragan Čović, held a meeting today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to BiH, H.E. E. Ji Ping.

During the meeting, officials discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, bilateral relations and economic cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the People's Republic of China. The Euro-Atlantic integration of BiH was also discussed.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples PA BiH informed Ambassador Ping about the current efforts to achieve the much-needed progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He highlighted the positive aspects of the rapid establishment of government at the state level as well as the achievement of the status of a candidate for membership in the European Union, saying that the achieved momentum should be continued in further work. Stable and constructive political dialogue, based on shared foreign policy goals and established Dayton principles, are a key element for the overall progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Also, mutual satisfaction with the relations between the two countries was confirmed, which, as pointed out, have no open issues. The officials emphasized the strengthening of friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and China, but also the strengthening of economic relations that are being successfully built despite the geographical distance between the two countries."
