Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Dragan Čović, Ph. Dr. held a meeting with the Hungarian Ambassador

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dragan Čović, Ph.D.., held a meeting today in Sarajevo with the Hungarian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. E. Krisztián Pósa.

On that occasion, the officials discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, current topics and processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the process of integration into the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, as well as economic cooperation.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH Čović informed the Ambassador about the current processes of functioning and establishment of government at different levels, especially emphasizing that stable political dialogue and equality of the three constituent nations are the basis of progress on the EU and NATO path.

Also, after the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the status of a candidate country, the Deputy Speaker Čović said that he expects further strong steps forward on the EU and NATO path.

In the end, the bilateral relations were assessed as satisfactory, and on that occasion the officials talked about the possible further strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, in the economy and other important areas."
