The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH Kemal Ademović spoke with the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina

"The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, Kemal Ademović, spoke today with the Ambassador of Romania to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Anton Pacuretu about the improvement of relations between the two countries.

The Ambassador of Romania congratulated Mr. Ademović on his election as Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, wished him successful work, and expressed his belief and commitment to successful co-operation. The Ambassador also congratulated Bosnia and Herzegovina on obtaining candidate status for membership in the European Union.

Deputy Speaker Ademović thanked Ambassador Pacuretu for all the support that Romania provides to Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Euro-Atlantic path, especially for the contribution that Romania had in the process of acquiring the candidate status of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of improving relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of parliamentary co-operation, economy, education and culture. He expressed satisfaction with Bosnia and Herzegovina's clear commitment to membership in the European Union and emphasized that this is the path to a more prosperous and better Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The interlocutors agreed that the sovereignty, territorial integrity and international subjectivity of Bosnia and Herzegovina are unquestionable, and that BiH needs persevere on its Euro-Atlantic path and adopt the 14 priorities of the European Union as soon as possible.” (statement from the Office of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples, Kemal Ademović)
