Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA at the Second part of the Annual Session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly

 
The Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA, composed of Milica Marković, Ismeta Dervoz, Nermina Kapetanović and Mladen Bosić, will participate in the Second part of the regular Session of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE), held in Strasbourg from 22 to 26 April 2013.

Alongside the election of the Vice President of PACE from Monaco and Romania and membership changes in the Councils, the Council of Ministers report will be presented, and the presidential elections in Armenia will be discussed on the first day. The following day, participants will discuss the following topics: “Violence against religious communities”, “Strong legal and political effects on the fight against child abuse in sexual tourism”, “Parliaments united in the fight against sexual violence against children: preview after the partial conduct of the campaign “Every fifth”, and “Quit discrimination against Roma children”. On the third day, the following topics will be addressed: “Post-monitoring the dialogue with Turkey”, “Culture and education through national Parliaments: European politics”, “Young Europeans: urgent educational challenge” and “Access for youth to fundamental rights”.

On the fourth day, thoughts on the following topics will be exchanged: “Report on the work of the Human Rights Commissioner of the Council of Europe for 2012”, “Frontex: the need to improve its role in the field of human rights, and its capacities”, “Managing the challenges in the field of immigration and asylum beyond the Eastern border of the European Union”, while on the last day, debates on the Proposal of Protocol no. 15 of the European Human Rights Convention, adjustment of the advantages and risks of nanotechnology for public health and the environment, as well as ethics in science and technology, will be held.
