Ismeta Dervoz of the BiH PA delegation to the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly attended "Women free of violence" meeting within the Network of Parliamentarians

 
Ismeta Dervoz, Member of the BiH PA Standing Parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), will give a presentation to the participants of the meeting of the Network of Parliamentarians, titled “Women liberation of violence” in Strasbourg on 10 December 2013. The presentation will focus on activities of the PACE Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination, with specific regard to promoting of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence.

The Network of Parliamentarians’ "Women free of violence" brings together 51 MPs of member States and observers in PACE whose main role is to raise the political and legal standards in the area of prevention of violence against women, and the effective prosecution of perpetrators of violence against women.
