Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Šefik Džaferović, met today with the Minister of Justice of Hungary, Laszlo Trocsanyi, who is in an official visit to our country.
Noting the satisfaction with the fact that political as well as all other relations between our two countries are at a very high level, Mr. Džaferović expressed his gratitude for the support provided to us by friendly Hungary on the Euro-Atlantic path. In particular, he highlighted the successful cooperation that parliaments in BiH have had with the Hungarian Parliament in the framework of the Twinning project, which was implemented with the aim of strengthening of the institutional capacities for the accession of our country to the European Union.
During today's meeting, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives informed the guest about the specificities of our country's legal system. There were also discussions about the efforts to achieve progress in the legal sphere that is necessary for the establishment of full rule of law and the achievement of high European standards. (End)
