Guests, a Member of Bundestag and representatives of the German universities, and Members of the Collegium expressed also the expectation that scholars who complete practice in Germany, will have the opportunity to compare their new experience with the one from Bosnia and Herzegovina by spending some time as interns in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

Moreover, the German Parliament (Bundestag) in cooperation with the Free University of Berlin, the Humboldt University in Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin, grant around 120 scholarships each year for young graduates from 28 countries. The programme is annual and it lasts from 1 March to 31 July.

During their full-day activities, IPS-programme scholars have the opportunity to get acquainted with the different tasks of MP’s office. In that respect, great importance is given to their active participation, which includes expert elaborates, writing of speeches, articles and letters, preparation of sessions as well as carrying out the duties of the Secretariat. In addition, scholars accompany MPs to sessions of Committees, factions and other bodies, where they gain the insight into internal functioning, relations and flows of parliamentary procedures.
