Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presiding over the General Committee for Justice, Home Affairs and Security Cooperation of the PA SEECP next year

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presiding over the General Committee for Justice, Home Affairs and Security Cooperation of the Parliamentary Assembly of South East Europe Cooperation Process (PA SEECP) next year, as decided at the session of this Committee held on the eve of the 4th plenary session of PSSEECP in Zagreb.

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) and the Deputy Chairman of the PA BiH Delegation in the PA SEECP, Bariša Čolak, were elected President of the General Committee for Justice, Internal Affairs and Security Cooperation of the PA SEECP.

Delegation of the PA BiH at the 4th Plenary Session of the PA SEECP, except Mr. Čolak, will consist of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH and the Chair of PA BiH Delegation to the PA SEECP Šefik Džaferović, Deputy Chair of Delegation Momčilo Novaković and the member of Delegation, Hanka Vajzović.

Within the preparations for the Fourth Plenary session of the PA SEECP, the session of the General Committee for Economy, Infrastructure and Energy, to be presiding by Turkey next year as well as the session of General Committee on Social Development, Education, Research and Science to be presiding by Montenegro, were also held today in Zagreb.

Anyway, during the Plenary Session of the PA SEECP, the Speakers of both houses of the PA BiH, Šefik Džaferović and Bariša Čolak, will address participants on the topic „Connection-Cooperation – Communication: the way forward“. Also, it is expected that Final Declaration of the PA SEECP and Work Program 2017/2018 will be adopted at tomorrow session.

Slovenia will undertake the Chairmanship-in-Office of the PA SEECP for the following year from Croatia. (End)
