Staša Košarac, Deputy Chairman of the BiH PA House of Peoples, spoke today in Sarajevo with the Russian Ambassador, Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, about parliamentary and economic relationship development between the two countries.
Mr. Košarac expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Kharchenko for his devoted work developing political and economic relations between BiH and Russia, stressing that BiH will maintain neutral on the crisis in Ukraine.

During the conversation, they expressed a common attitude that the “South stream” gas pipeline project is beneficial and useful for BiH and its citizens.
They also discussed potential new Russian investment in ​​the Sarajevo - Romanija region, especially Jahorina, as well as the promotion of educational and cultural co-operation. They also agreed upon a visit by Ambassador Kharchenko to the municipality of East New Sarajevo. (End)
