PABiH Delegation in Vienna at the OSCE PA’s 16th Winter Meeting

16^th Winter Meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) commenced today in Vienna with the plenary session of the three general committees.

During the Meeting, which was attended by members of the PABiH Delegation in the OSCE PA Bariša Čolak and Halid Genjac on behalf of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), participants were initially addressed by the President of the National Council of Austria Doris Bures and OSCE PA President Christine Muttonen, who placed particular emphasis in their introductory speech on issues of protection of human rights in times of crisis.

Participants were also addressed by the Special Representative for Human Rights, Ms. Hedy Fry during the plenary session, who presented the Report on the Protection of Human Rights.

First day of the OSCE PA 16^th Winter Meeting will be ended by the General Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and Environment’s debate themed: "Management of natural resources, protection of water and climate change", which will be attended by Halid Genjac, a member of the PABiH Delegation in the OSCE PA.
