Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in the plenary session of PAM

The Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), Šemsudin Mehmedović, and the Deputy Chairman, Mirsad Isaković, will participate at the 11th plenary session of PAM, which will be held on 23rd and 24th February of in the Portuguese town Porto.

In the framework of presentation of work of the Standing Committee for the political and security cooperation of PAM, the participants will discuss about the cooperation in the area of migration and security, also they will have discussion and vote on the resolutions: „About the fight against terrorism“ and „Security challenges related to migrations”.

During the discussion on the work of the Standing Committee on economic, social and environmental cooperation, it was planned to talk about economic cooperation in the Mediterranean region, and to held a debate and a vote on resolutions "The challenges of climate changes: after Paris and Marrakesh" and "Impact of the Arab spring in the Mediterranean region".

The work of the Standing Committee for dialogue among civilizations and for human rights will also present its work to the participants. As previously announced, in the framework of this panel, the participants will discuss and vote on the resolution "Protection of cultural heritage".

According to the agenda, at the end of the 11th Plenary Session, the new president of PAM will be elected. (end)
