A delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe at the first part of the regular session of PACE

Chairman of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Senad Šepić and members of the Delegation Mladen Bosić, Milica Marković and Damir Arnaut will participate in the first part of the regular session of the PACE, which will be held in Strasbourg from 23 to 27 January this year.

According to the agenda, participants in the first part of the regular session of the PACE will discuss the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the situation in Lebanon and its consequences for regional and European security, and the strengthening of social dialogue as an instrument for stability and the reduction of social and economic inequality.

There will be a discussion on functioning of democratic institutions in Turkey and Ukraine, as well as on the situation in Syria and its effects on neighbouring countries.

During the five-day session, there will be discussions on the attacks on journalists and media freedom in Europe, on challenges and responsibilities of online media and journalism, and how to stop cyber discrimination and online hatred. (End)
